Day Two
April 17, 2005
Start of trip Ralph and Glenn Baird departed UWS West Houston Airport.
Landing at Tunica, MS to stretch their legs and refuel.

Departing West Houston Airport (IWS) at 11 am
  
Landing at Bowling Green, KY, cousin Jim Powers met his cousins at the airport.

Met up with Jim Powers (cousin Jim)
  


Stopped in Tunica, MS and drove to Engineer flood control dam and reservoir south of Memphis.
Departed Tunica, MS and over Memphis departures of 747’s Fed EX planes just under us.


We arrived Bowling Green last night 4:30 pm on time.

Went to Corvette Factory tour this morning at 9am then the National Corvette Museum
Drove to Cave, KY for a lunch then out to Mammoth Cave National Park.
Back at motel for a break. Tomorrow off to State College and a meeting with Dr. Mr. Peter Flemings at PennState and an extra day in PA.

Day Three
April 18, 2005
Bowling Green, KY Tour of GM Corvette Factory and visit the National Corvette Museum

from University Park Airport, State College, PA to New Bedford, MA

 

We require fuel and overnight tie down. Planned departure is
Saturday morning April 23 southwest bound to KBLM via
Tower Cab KLGA and Class B exclusion East River NYC.
If there is a pilot at EWB who knows this exclusion route,
I would like to speak with him/her for advice.

Day 10: April 25, 2995 Flying over New York City
